Community Training Center

The goal of the Region II EMS Community Training Center (CTC) is to provide effective and comprehensive training and education though the various courses offered through the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Some courses that we offer are Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR, HS 1st Aid CPR & AED, ACLS, PALS and Pediatric CE’s through the Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP) course. We train several hundred students yearly all throughout the counties of Dona Ana, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, Sierra and Socorro though our large network of over two hundred instructors. One Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and one HS 1st Aid, CPR & AED class are offered monthly here at the Region II EMS office. Classes can also be scheduled at your location with a minimum number of 6 students. We strive to provide students with the best learning experience possible which enables students to perform CPR or render 1st Aid if the situation arises with confidence in the skills they have obtained from attending one of our courses.
