New Mexico Association of EMS Educators Reestablished
Board of Directors Named
Ruidoso, NM: During the New Mexico EMS Educators conference recently held in Ruidoso, educators from across the state agreed that a single voice is needed to effectively chart a future path for quality EMS education and improved medical responder training. To do this, a dormant organization, the New Mexico Association of EMS Educators (NMAEMSE), was reestablished.
After a vote of affirmation by the instructors attending, individuals stepped up to form the interim board of directors:
Jesse Davis, ENMU- Roswell - Chair
Jim Dinsch, SJC – Vice-Chair
Jan Bell, ENMU – Roswell - Treasurer
Roman Valles, EMSA - Secretary
Fred Payne, EMSA –Region 1 Representative
Region 2 Representative
Larry Nelson, ENMU – Portales, Region 3 Representative
“During the next few weeks, the board will be developing a membership plan that will benefit the EMS educators of New Mexico, review and revise the By-laws and rebuild this organization”, commented Jesse Davis, the NMAEMSE Chair.
