Region II EMS has proudly served the residents of New Mexico for over 28 years. We are dedicated to providing technical and regulatory expertise, basic and advanced training, and support services to the Emergency Responders of southern New Mexico.
Mission Statement
Region II Emergency Medical Services, Inc. is a New Mexico nonprofit corporation organized for the purpose of assisting the New Mexico EMS Bureau in the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive emergency medical systems in Catron, Dona Ana, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, Sierra, and Socorro counties that includes, but is not limited to, operating injury prevention programs, training emergency medical personnel, providing American Heart Association classes, establishing working interfaces with the Department of Health in achieving their goals, assisting hospitals in achieving trauma status, serving as a liaison for county medical and public safety agencies, and establishing and implementing other emergency medical, public health, and public safety and educational programs that benefit the public.
